This is Rosie. We have been very best pals since high school. She’s awesome and wonderful! And although, beautiful while not preggo, she’s extraordinarily lit up with this new life growing inside. And the new life’s name: Tyler Legend. He’s a little brother to Rosie and Rob’s first sweet baby, Lily, who just turned 3. She is also anxiously awaiting the arrival of her baby brother. Tyler is definitely a silly and sweet little boy who already loves his mamma and shows her daily with kicks of joy. :) I’m so excited for Rose, as she is near the end of her pregnancy journey and will meet her little man soon.
And as she goes into labor, our prayer is for her to keep her peace, have fun and know that it is God who is doing the work, recognize the courage and strength easily accessible within her and believe that this body is the perfect vehicle for giving birth.
A friend had a beautiful picture of birth that I must share: She said: As you experience each contraction, as they come and go, remember that as your baby enters the world, he is being passed from God’s hands into yours. Love that!
For God did not give us the spirit of fear, but a spirit of power. And giving birth is powerful. :)
