One thing I really love about photography is the connection to people. There are invisible bonds we develop with each couple or family that create a lasting bridge of friendship. Whether it’s over a few hours or an entire weekend, we have fun, we laugh, and we end up hoping life with bring us together again. Sometimes, we see our new friends at restaurants around the city. Sometimes, at another wedding. Sometimes, we even run into them at Disney! And then, even better, we get to photograph them again. And again. And again.

Today’s sweet family was just such a special treat. We photographed the happy couple once upon a time at their wedding–at Chima Fort Lauderdale.  Now, with their incredibly adorable (oh my….you just wait and see…) little girl, we had the pleasure of photographing them again.  This time at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, Florida. (One of my favorites!!)  It was gorgeous.  They were gorgeous.  All I can say is, more please??  We can’t wait to see them again!

If you’ve been coming to the blog for a little while now, you may recognize this next adorable family.  Kelly and Lindsay got married back in February of 2011 and Michelle Lawson Photography was there to capture it.  Not only, that, but we blogged about it, and used their gorgeous shots on our web banners and Facebook pages and generally gushed about how fun and amazing that day was at the Pelican Grand Resort for the next year.  (Yes, it’s handy to work in a place like Fort Lauderdale, where the idea of a February wedding can involve things like flip-flops, clear skies, and open-air restaurants.)

But then!

Baby Ella.  Ohhhh baby!  Linsday and Kelly called us up for a newborn shoot of their sweet little two-week-old girl at Colee Hammock Park.  Who could resist?  Ella was adorable, and I love seeing the glowing pride and love on new parents’ faces.  We laughed, we cried, we reminiced. Well, Ella did more of the crying and we did more of the laughing, but who’s keeping track.  She was a doll!
