So, like, my party was like, SO completely totally awesome! For sure!!! – said like a true valley girl. :)
LOL. OK, enough of the 80′s Lingo! LOL. But I think you knew I had to go there….I did have an eighty’s party after all. :) And really, I do say “like”, “totally”, and “awesome” a lot. Just not quite so valley-ish. hahahaha And really, it was awesome and we all had a blast!
So, it’s that time of year again! I get to turn a whole year older! How exciting…… ;) And, to to make turning 31 “totally awesome”, we decided to throw a party in honor of my favorite music decade: the 80′s! :) We also asked our fav DJ, Anthony to come rock it out for us and he definitely rocked! We danced ALL night long to awesome music and ate very yummy food! :) It was so much fun. Example: For the “singing happy birthday” and cake time, Anthony literally had to stop the music so we would all go sing and do cake real quick, or else i’m not sure it would’ve happened at all! lol! It was great in every way.

Fact: I’m the official party planner of the family and so I normally plan or at least help to plan all of my own birthday parties….well, not this year my friends. Gladys, another awesome friend of ours, also a party planner by nature, decided to surprise me and take on the details of my 80′s party and plan it all. So, I spent a few hours in my room before the party hiding while everything was being set up.

I love my cousin Andrea’s face here, yelling for me as I truly contemplate that I have to turn another year older. lol. 31 is still Thirty, Flirty and Thriving, right!? LOL. Those 3 little words helped me turn 30 last year! They kinda worked this year too.
