In light of having shot lots of pregnancy sessions these past few weeks and with our own 4th baby arriving in 3 weeks or so…..I wanted to share a few tips that have been a wonderful way to relax and enjoy the journey to baby…..
Everyday, find a peaceful spot to rest your eyes and your mind. Take naps. Breathe. Pray. Fill the air with sweet fragrances. (preferably organic or natural ones!) Take a calm bath. Sit in the sun. Go for a walk. Enjoy all those little kicks that baby is doing in there! Find a place where you can release all your thoughts and tensions. Journal. (I’m a big journaler.) lol. Is that even a word!? Well, I write about almost everything our kids do. They all have 1st year calendars, baby books, birthday books, birthday party scrapbooks, and tons of photos! (being photographers, we can’t help that one! ;) )
I also journal daily, sometimes weekly or monthly about family life. Keeping a writing notebook about your baby’s life is so valuable!! While writing about your thoughts and feelings is a wonderful way to keep record of pregnancy memories, even after your baby is born, writing is an awesome way to relax and keep memories that might have otherwise been forgotten!!
